One Mission. One Kit. One Life.
“The LifeSaver Kit Project is the brainchild enterprise of Emily Loogman, inspired by God through the needs of underprivileged children in Africa. In the summer of 2010, as a high school junior, Emily embarked on a 5-week missions trip that ultimately built the vision for this project. While working with AIDS orphans in Zambia, Emily noticed the absence of basic first aid medical supplies that could in fact save lives and help prevent the spread of diseases and infections. The overlook of such basic necessities were evident among these orphans - ringworm, open and festering wounds, infections, and dehydration – simple commodities that Americans underestimate. Upon returning to her hometown in rural Northern California, Emily has continued to carry her mission back in the States. With the inspiration to form basic medical kits consisting of such basic items such as band-aids, gauze, antibacterial ointments, re-hydrating packs, pain relievers, etc., Emily hopes to touch and save lives, one at a time. With the help of family and friends, as well as heart-touched strangers as she presents this project to various churches, clubs, and organizations, The Lifesaver Project is now in the foundational stages of what she eventually envisions as a global ministry. Emily continues to seek out donations and volunteers in this quickly growing project to change the world, one Lifesaver kit at a time.”

Dear Emily, I received a Life Saver Kit from a dear friend, who came to help us last year – Mike Greenberg. The reason for my writing – is firstly I want to encourage you to continue to do what the Lord called you to do. Every burden the Lord places on our hearts, we [...]
WOW! The LifeSaver Kits were a SMASH HIT! While we were in Rwanda, we discovered that the Bishop’s wife was a nurse. When we showed her the kits, she was thrilled. They plan to use them in rural settings in the Butare area of Rwanda. We left 7 Kits for them. 15 kits went to [...]

There will be several trips to Africa from this FourWinds Mission (the local mission of the WindFarm Cafe) based in TN. In the picture (L-R), Mike Greenburg, Serena Travis, Brian Hardin, Drake Travis and Jason [...]
A fun story… Serena Travis, my mentor, normally listens to Daily Audio Bible “DAB” (www.dailyaudiobible.com) everyday. Her ears perked up when she heard that there was a mission group of DAB listeners who were planning to go to Zambia in July. She wondered if it would be possible to send some LifeSaver Kits with them. [...]
Becky Travis, of Fort Jones, CA, will be delivering 70 kits when she goes to Mexico in June. She will be distributing them to different towns and orphanages during her stay. She volunteered to be our project partner after her initial trip to Haiti was cancelled. We look forward to adding pictures from Becky’s trip. [...]
The Interact Club of Etna High School recently donated enough to cover 10 LifeSaver Kits. We look forward to distributing them to people in Zambia.
