A Thank You from Mulondo Patrick: Uganda

Dearest The Life Save Kit Project,

I bring greetings to you all from Uganda my country on behalf of my ministry and my people who you helped get medical kits dueling these past  2 outreaches we have had along side my brother Jared Morrison from Atlanta . Thank you so very much for that support you gave to my ministry .We had the first outreach on 21st Dec and 29th Dec 2012.21st we had one outreach in the jungles of Bwelenga landing site on the showers  of lake Victoria where many children were ministered to through mosquito nets, malaria medicine, Medical kits and most importantly hearing about Jesus as we as a team shared with them. While in Bwelenga, we handed out 200 nets to children and old parents,30 malarial doses to only elderly parents who cannot afford to get it and still 5 medical kits were given out in the same place. Still  in Bwelenga on the 21st we had an opportunity moving door to door with a young man Denis my friend I have known through Sixty Feet. He treated a number of old people using the medical kits that were provided by LIFESAVE Kit PROJECT CA.Through the help of Doctor Denis and Jared Morrison, I was able to learn more on how to explain everything in the kit to the jungle people so that they do not misinterpret the kits.  29th  December  outreach  in Bugiri , 450 mosquito nets were given out to the local jungle families, medical kits were distributed to homes of  4-6 families not to one family as we did in July with Sarah Loogman’s team where a kit was given to a family. In Bugiri ,people stay in huts  where a father buys land and his children for as long as they can be able to build , his father provides land which is just like 25 feet from the main hut where father and mother stay. So u can find that about 6 children have huts around, their children also do the same as the family grows bigger and bigger but living very close .So this made the distribution of kits, net and sharing Christ easy. I and Jared, we could explain the kits to such families and identify some one in the family who knows how to read English so that he or she keeps the kit and be able to give first aid to every one in the family who needs that help from the kits. While sharing Jesus to these people ,as always its not easy to have some of them say yes to Christ for that very limited short time so our main effort was to encourage them to come to Church and this was very possible through the team of local pastors who moved with us door to door mostly in Bugiri and so we were able to direct them to those churches they lead or to a near buy church in the community . Because so many who gave toward my nets ministry, many who stopped by my room and bought my crafts, teams that helped me carry back my crafts to USA, those who stopped and bought my crafts from Mom Beverly, at DLC, from auntie Laura Hill in Atlanta  and Visiting teams that have always invited me and supported me through buying my crafts we were able to raise 650 mosquito nets and 90 doses of malaria medicine that we handed over to the people living in jungles. To those who have always stopped and took time to pray as you always hear when there is an outreach I am going on to you have made a difference because your prayers works so much and to those who have always send advises  and spoken words of wisdom on how better  I can take my ministry to the next step ,thank u you so very much. At this time let me wish you all a happy new year 2013,a year of many outreaches and a goal to win many souls to Christ as well encouraging many to go to church. I am looking forward to working with you more and more in the upcoming outreaches this year 2013 in providing kits through your ministry to the people in the jungles here. We  noted that ,any people are so much in need of  Anti-diarrheal tabs and wound treating stuff as well very much in need of Antifungal cream. Many children have that problem of fungal. Thank u so much.

May the love of our God be with you all.

MULONDO PATRICK.
